SNOWBOARD SINGER SONGWRITER NATIONAL RADIO DEBUT
DARIN TALBOT Interview to Air Nationally on 130 Radio Stations

(ST. LOUIS, MO.) - Tahoe Troubadour Darin Talbot's debut interview on "Someone You Should Know" with veteran radio host Rik Anthony will air nationally on All Star Radio Networks 130 affiliates during the weekend of January 26th & 27th, 2002.

The six minute segment features Talbot discussing snowboarder terminology from his second CD release titled, "TAHOE BACKCOUNTRY", his epic homage to coming of age in the Lake Tahoe Basin during the pioneering days of the sport of snowboarding.

Anthony highlights two compelling tracks from the release: "Tweeker Shred Master" and "Lazy Days In Tahoe", encompassing Talbot's passion for both the region and the sport. With his music, christened "Extreme Sport Folk-Rock" by Listen.com, Talbot provides the ultimate lifestyle soundtrack for the mountain-sport enthusiast.

In January, D.T. was a privileged performer at the Olympic Torch Passing Ceremony held at Squaw Valley, USA. His national radio interview airs two weeks prior to the start of the U.S. Olympic Snowboard Competition in Park City, Utah.

Also in January, Talbot was voted ** BEST LOCAL MUSICIAN OF 2001 ** in the TAHOE.com readers poll. He racked up a total of 167 appearances for the year.
