AIR TAHOE RECORDS LABEL TO LAUNCH MAY 1, 2001 WITH RELEASE OF TAHOE TROUBADOUR DARIN TALBOT'S NEW CD, "TAHOE BACKCOUNTRY".

Snowboard Songwriter's TV debut on Resort Sports Network to be broadcast Monday, March 12, to over 500,000 viewers on 56 stations in western resort markets.

LAKE TAHOE, NV - Tahoe Troubadour DARIN TALBOT will release his second CD, "TAHOE BACKCOUNTRY" on May 1, 2001. The artist's sophomore effort will be released through his newly launched label, AIR TAHOE RECORDS, with offices located in Los Angeles and Lake Tahoe.

Talbot will preview his snowboard songs on the RESORT SPORTS NETWORK, on Monday, March 12th. RSN reaches over 500,000 viewers on 56 western regional resort cable outlets. The network's website, RSN.com, was rated the #1 ski site by Media Metrix in 1999.

With AIR TAHOE RECORDS, Talbot has partnered with music industry veteran BRADSHAW LAMBERT, cofounder of BONG LOAD CUSTOM RECORDS, the label known for it's instrumental role in helping to launch the successful multi-platinum career of two time Grammy Award winning artist BECK.

Talbot performs Monday and Tuesday nights at Hyatt Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, NV, with Wednesday nights at Captain Jon's on the Lake, in Tahoe

Vista, CA. Both residencies run indefinite. Recent opening slots for the
Beach Boys and the Brian Setzer Orchestra warrant future show dates TBA.
